historic reunion in tna
tna wrestling for better or worse pulled made yet another risky move this past week at the impact television tapings. one of the biggest teams in pro wrestling history reunited for at least one night for tna.
scott hall and kevin nash, founding members of the n.w.o. reunited for tna wrestling. nash brought out scott hall who was rumored to be opposing nash as sting’s mystery partner at genesis on november 11 on pay-per-view. hall and nash hugged and proceeded to cut a promo (again for better or worse) right out of their wcw nitro, new world order days.
scott hall is one of the most talented wrestlers in the history of the business yet brings with him a potential of a variety of outside of the ring problems. scott’s problems with addiction are well documented and he would be the first to tell you so. scott was last rumored to reunite with another fellow ex-n.w.o. member sean waltman last year to come to the wwe and feud with dx.
hall has gotten himself back into wrestling shape over the last several months and has been wrestling regularly for carlos colon’s w.w.c. in puerto rico. i talked to hall recently who has goals of another major run on a national level.
tna’s relationship with kevin nash has been one of the strangest i have ever seen. nash has not wrestled for tna in over a year, yet continues to be a major part of their television show. nash and hall are arguably two of the most controversial wrestlers in the history of pro wrestling and usually bring a ton of drama and politics wherever they go. a hall and nash in-ring reunion could mean big business for tna in the short-term. the long-term ramifications of this reunion could be just as disastrous as they could be a success.
