- in a recent interview, kevin nash put over chris jericho, which makes jericho’s “shoot comment” on nash’s vulnerability to injury rather surprising. but, whether there was a true message being sent or not, the feeling is that it was very odd to take a shot at kevin nash, who, albeit close with hbk, hasn’t been in the wwe picture for a while.
- the goal of this week’s raw was to get john cena over as a major star, since (spoiler-warning) the world heavyweight title was to be moved to smackdown. the wwe title has come off as a second-tier belt the past few weeks, so wwe wanted to give cena and the belt a mega-push on this week’s show.
- for those wondering why the rock did not make his traditional return at the california raw, there simply was no real need for his presence. wwe wants to put the rock’s talent and star power to far greater use than a six-man tag designed to get a current wwe superstar over. considering he needs to promote his reality show, and can’t really do much in the ring anymore, hogan made far more sense.
