kevin nash and scott hal
i barely watch tna but when its one i watch it. i saw kevin nash in the ring with scott hall and i was pissed actually. i think kevin nash should settle down now and stop the wrestling buisness same as scott hall. too me they were excellent back with the nwo. now seeing them old and such i dont like them and think they shouldnt wrestle any longer. i respect their work and dedication but its time for them to settle down now. thoughts?

even though jeff jarrett and the puppets who follow his every word have made numerous amounts of mistakes in the past, i am actually still shocked at the magnitude of their stupidity.
now i haven't watched "impact!" for the last 2 or 3 months, but i glance at the spoilers every now and again and i just can't help but wonder how anyone could possibly think having two has-beens like hall and nash return to the ring and render the viewers unconcious from severe boredom is actually a good idea.
these guys are far past their prime and in my opinion, a huge liability to the company. kevin nash has a history of sustaining serious injuries doing very little while scott hall can't seem to keep himself out of trouble for significant periods of time. i wouldn't rely on these guys to carry a company for a mere three months, even if they swore on the lives of their families.
i'm not even gonna mention my thoughts on tna bringing in junior fatu seeing as how they finally managed to do something intelligent and let him go. now if only they could repeat that same pattern with the steiners, black reign, disco inferno, judas mesias, nash, and hall. i'll probably add vkm to that list as well.

sadly it is difficult for me to say this, but tna sucks really bad right now. ever since bfg it has been pretty bad. bfg should have been an end to the almost year long samoa/ joe kurt angle feud, but instead they chose to rush a sting/angle feud in a 4 week time period.
the main stars of tna are sting/angle/hall/nash/judeus mesias/abyss/dudley's/steiner brothers. the mid cards are rhyno/christian/styles/tomko/lax/xxx/women wrestlers/black reign. the low cards in each episode are samoa joe/petey williams/kaz/rood. the rest of the roster are either jobbers or preshow entertainment.
abyss was the only tna original getting a decent push, but it seems to have ended or put on hold when judeis, was injured. judies has since returned to cmll in mexico but has yet to make an appearance on tna since his injury.
aj styles gets a decent amount of air time, but he comes across as being tomko's lackey not the triple crown champion we know and love. tomko is christians lackey which makes aj the bitch of a bitch.
samoa joe getting pushed aside in favor of hall/nash/sting is a disgrace to the industry. tna is starting to do what i hated wwe for. in wwe it is all about hhh/michaels. if there not world champions then their main event feud with the spirit squad/mcmahon’s takes precedent over cena's championship reign on each episode of raw. now in tna anything hall nash and sting takes president over the rest of the roster.
kevin nash looks like an albert einstein in steroids. hall is just fat. and these are the guys that hog up a majority if tna's airtime.
vince russo needs to go are something needs to be done behind the scenes because wwe and tna are all lacking right

i think tna is looking good right now. hall and nash are old, but everybody knows they will only last for about 2-3 months.

thank you for pointing that out. i've been watching tna regularly for over a couple of years now. what attracted me to them was aj and joe. these guys are innovative and unique talents in their industry and i was really hoping tna would get their two-hour prime time slot and expand and build on aj, joe, daniels, the x division and christian. obviously christian is not a "home-grown" or roh talent but i feel tna provided him with an opportunity to distinguish himself and develop his character.
i can not be less disappointed with how things have developed. aj styles has been completely buried....to the point that i don't know if he'll ever be able to rebuild his character. as you said, he's a triple crown winner for god's sake! he's one the the most athletically gifted talents in pro wrestling today and is far from being simply a spot monkey that can only excel in gimmick matches yet he's stuck playing some kind of gilligan to christian's skipper. joe has disappeared almost entirely from the main event picture and i'm surprised he hasn't simply walked out on them at this point.
tna had a golden opportunity as they approached their two-hour upgrade. they could have torn people's faces off with the hard-hitting, athletic and compelling professional wrestling that joe, aj, daniels, and the other x division wrestlers are so uniquely able to provide yet for whatever reason they seem truly focused on recreating every awful and cliche idea that has ever been put out. there are so many problems with tnas booking that i don't know where to start.
1. dudleys vs x division is an abortion.
2. abyss vs black rain/judas has a lot of potential but with judas getting hurt and not even appearing for promos is sucking pretty bad.
3. it's neat to see the steiners reunited but it should have been for a couple of quick "dream matches" with the dudleys and that's it...end of story.
4. kurt angle is just awful. i was really excited when he went over because i thought we'd be treated to legendary matches with the likes of joe, aj and daniels but it hasn't really happened. they rushed headlong into the joe feud and though the matches were pretty good, the feud itself was uninspired. beyond those matches, there hasn't been a single even remotely memorable match involving angle.
5. unfocused and unfulfilled "factions." christian's coalition is retarded. lax has no focus now that konnan is gone.
6. the missed opportunity with joe and fatu...i mentioned in another thread recently about how excited i got when it looked like they were going to create a joe vs the world storyline where he had alienated himself from every one on the roster that no one was going to come to his aid until fatu showed up and they would create a duo that would go on to fight off everyone. didn't happen. fatu was almost immediately pulled away from joe and then quit/got fired/whatever.
7. where did the x division go? it seems like it's getting the same treatment as the wwe's cruiserweight division.
8. vkm - not even sure what reason they have for existing in tna.
9. black machismo - was damn funny the first few times...and when he came out and wrestled in character, very funny as well...at least it would have been had it just been a one-off, tongue-in-cheek gag but to rob him of his character and have him wrestle as savage is a disservice to one of the most talented wrestlers out there right now.
10. nash - hall: why??? i like both these guys but what is the point...who are the going to wrestle...why should we care? they'd make great mentors, even on screen ones, for younger talent but i can't seem to find any reason why reuniting them makes any sense at all. are they going after the title? are they going after angle? are they going to recreate some sort of nwo? it's just stupid.
it all begins and ends with atrocious writing. they have far-and-away the finest talent on the national scene. yes they've signed some duds lately, but good writing would be able to do great things with them. in fact, the only really horrible horrible talents on the roster are vkm and the dudleys. bubba ray should be embarrassed by his weight and vkm is so consumed by their resentment towards triple h and shawn michaels that seeing them is simply unpleasant.
creative writing could do wonders with the black reign thing, as well as raven and even the reunited steiners but it shouldn't take a hemmingway to write for incredible talents like aj, daniels, joe, christian, lax, the x division and some of the others.

as far as scott hall goes, he's too old and fat to bring anything decent. when i watched tna this week, when i saw kevin nash in a suit, i thought he could be a manager. he's got the style for it if you ask me and it would be pretty unusual to have a manager that would probably be bigger than the wrestler he's managing. could be interesting but tna is going in a downward spiral right now.
