i'm unclear as to the manner of death - how did he get "speared"?
also, is he a minor baddie?

castle runs at the russian and rams/spears (i was thinking a bit too much on the wrestling side of things here) him through the staircase, hence why they both end up going down the stairs.
he is a very minor baddy and only appears for this sequence.
did i mention the burn make-up for the scolding is really nasty? well, it is.

he was speared wasn't he? and some deaths do list the killing item as "fall"

no, when i said "speared" i meant he was rammed by castle in a sort of tackle. (a move, which in wrestling, is called a spear)
