[archive] - vbulletin community forum vbulletin community forum > vbulletin.com web site > archives > vbulletin 1.1.x archives > vbulletin 1.1.x bug reports > ste5.com fix? pda view full version : ste5.com fix? jfsmon 22nd may '00, 4:33ami just got an email from site5.com hosting since i inquired if they've had problems running vb. they said the bug was found and a fix was on the way. was this bug in 'global.php' specific to them or a general one that has been bothering people? i just don't want to consider a service that will have continual problems. on the good side though they do promptly reply to emails which is more than i can say for other services. this post pretty much goes out to the developers but will this be a 'patch' or incorporated into a stable 1.1.2 release? -jfs nutcasemon 22nd may '00, 7:30amjohn has worked his butt off trying to find that bug... it has to do with a routine in the global.php file sending data through apache weird... or thats as much as i gathered, and even that may be wrong. what that means is that they currently work right, but without smilies or vb code. but because they have narrowed it down to 1 routine, it should be fixed much sooner... because at least they know where to look. i have my fingers crossed for a fix in the next few days, as i am already on site5. as far as what i think of them, i am amazed. they have been really great to me. i had lots of bugs getting stuff running there, but they have been non-stop helpful, and the only bug left is this forum one... i highly reccomend them... vbulletin® v3.6.8, copyright ©2000-2007, jelsoft enterprises ltd.
