both kevin nash and tna management were on good terms when he took a temporary leave of absence from the company last sunday at the lockdown ppv. as reported earlier, nash will be gone from the company for two months due to a new movie role he landed overseas. "he did a service to this company by showing up and not asking to be paid. (nash) did what he needed to do, then left for his new gig overseas. there's no heat on him," said one tna source.in regards to those still involved with tna backstage, terry taylor is still involved with the production aspect of the tapings and also acts as an agent for some of the younger talent. jerry lynn, shane douglas and scott d'amore also help out as agents behind the scenes as well.in regards to the recent signing of tito ortiz, one tna wrestler had some strong words. "(tna) needs to appreciate what they have in front of them already and take advantage of it. there is so much talent here, looking to bring in ufc fans isn't going to work," said the wrestler. "paul e. took no-names like tazmaniac, sandman, tommy dreamer, teddy petty, and johnny grunge and built a brand around them. tna doesn't know that all the tools they need are right here." this wasn't the only opinion concerning the signing. "we need an identity. tna after three years still isn't known for anything. there's aj styles and the x division. there's jeff jarrett and the nwa title. but what sets tna apart overall? there is no answer," said another tna wrestler.news derived from: pro wrestling torch newsletter
