in typical kevin federline fashion, he's broken his promise that he'd visit a children's charity during every leg of his promotional tour for his upcoming album "playing with fire." his pr rep announced his intentions in march, but he spent the past weekend in miami promoting his album by hanging out with britney and sean preston, playing at the beach, driving around a golf cart, jet skiing, watching the nba finals, and hosting a party at club mansion.
according to a lowdown spy, the federlines stayed at aqua, a heavily guarded condominium development, and ordered in most of their meals. friday night at mansion, kevin — britless — "was drinking cristal out of the bottle," reports the spy. "he was sitting in a table in the corner with about 10 guy friends," the spy continued. "after a spin on the turntables in the deejay booth and several shoutouts from the deejay, federline called it a night at 3:30 a.m."
but with all that activity, one thing k-fed did not do in miami was help a children's charity. yesterday, when lowdown raised k-fed's noncharitable behavior with lopez in an e-mail, she changed the subject: "kevin went to mansion to play additional new tracks from his upcoming album. and the crowd loved every track that kevin and the deejay played. it was another stop on his promotional tour in support of his debut album."
kevin federline not showing up to a children's charity is probably best for everybody involved. i'm not sure how smoothly it'd go when federline started calling all the children "his niggas" and then laughed at how unfortunate they were. three former security guards who say britney spears owes them overtime pay must settle their claims through arbitration, a judge ruled monday.silas dukes, lonnie deshawn jones and randy jones sued in march, claiming they were hired by two of spears' companies to provide security for the 24-year-old pop star and her home at $2,400 to $3,350 per week.the guards' attorney, stephen madoni, said the superior court ruling could put his clients at a significant disadvantage because two of three arbitration meetings will be held in new york instead of california, which he said has more favorable laws.madoni claimed the three never agreed to arbitrate wage claims and that arbitration would take away court protections for the men. he plans to appeal.the two companies, britney brands inc. and britney touring inc., are incorporated in new york and california.attorney william j. briggs ii, who represents the companies, said the original agreement between the guards and the companies called for wage disputes to be arbitrated.according to the suit, lonnie jones worked regular 12-hour shifts at spears' home while dukes and randy jones worked 12-to-16 hour shifts. they were on call 24 hours a day when accompanying spears on trips, the suit says.the men claim they were fired nov. 30 and never received final paychecks.sauce

i swear we only get c-list celebrities in the starbucks i work at...so yesterday around 6pm, we have a customer comes in. he's about 5'7, spikey dark brown hair, and really tanned. somewhat very good looking in that whole "17 year old" way. i go to the office and the person on register gives him a free drink saying courtesy of the person currently in charge(me). so i come out of the office, he comes up to me and gives me a pound and he's all like "thank you man... thanks". i'm all like "huh?" hen the girl on register was like "you told me to give him a drink on you rememeber?", i agreed. i asked where he was from and he said from new york city and that he lived in l.a. right now. i said he looked familiar and he said "yeah i was in a boyband" and i'm like "chris right?" he's like yeah man, yeah.chris trousdale from dream streetthat's what he looked like yesterday, except with a black tanktop on. after he left i had my assistant manager and a co-worker run after him cuz they wanted to hook me up with him. he's pretty cute but a little too orange for my taste.source: me.picture: http://www.myspace.com/christrousdale

jc chasez was in studio with ryan seacrest of kiis fm in los angeles monday morning; he talked about being on people’s 50 hottest bachelors list and gave some new information about his upcoming album:
the first single has been picked and it is titled “until yesterday.” he wrote the song with justin timberlake and he said “it’s insane” and “i’m singing my tail off on this record.” he said it’s not straight pop, but it’s not rock either. it’s a great musical song, upbeat, feels good, sarcastic, with queen-esque harmony;
he said the album is being mixed; the first single is due out in august and the album due in the fall.

dave chappelle hangs up on hot 97's miss jones(this is dated june 16th so hopefully this hasnt been posted) according to the new york daily news, the comedian requested a phone interview with miss jones to promote this week's release of his film "dave chappelle's block party" on dvd, but when the conversation turned toward his abrupt exit from comedy central's "chappelle's show," he refused to open his mouth. when miss jones brought up the tv show, chappelle sounded distracted as he declined to talk about it. he then said: "i'm trying to play gandhi."when miss jones' sidekick michael shaun jokingly asked if chappelle had been "smoking something," a moment later, chappelle said he had just gotten a note from his publicist saying he should hang up, and he did."it added up to one of those radio moments that requires listeners - and maybe, in this case, even hosts - to stand back for a minute and say, "what exactly just happened?""it also wasn't encouraging for the millions of chappelle fans (perhaps including miss jones, who said she likes his work) who seek some reassurance that quitting the tv deal has helped him get himself together.""i feel like a fool for trying to be nice," miss jones commented to the daily news, adding the comedian had little to say about the dvd anyway. los angeles (hollywood reporter) - a french court has dismissed a lawsuit against george clooney and warner bros. by a screenwriter who claimed that "syriana" was plagiarized from her script. the judge said "syriana" and the script by stephanie vergniault were "obviously different," despite her claims that the warner bros. feature was largely lifted from her 2002 script, "oversight." the lawsuit targeted clooney's film company, section eight, which he formed with dirrector steven soderbergh, as well as warner bros., and "syriana" writer-director stephen gaghan. source: yahoo

kirsten dunst's new boyfriend?i'm work at a coffee shop in vancouver, and they're filming a movie called hot rod here. according to imdb it stars andy samberg, ian mcshane, jorma taccone, chester tam, and that's all they have listed. i don't know who any of them are except for andy samberg. anyway andy samberg came into the coffee shop where i work (i'm not gonna say the name of it, i don't want to somehow get fired, who knows) and he was with kirsten dunst. andy got a muffin and coffee, and kirsten just got coffee. andy seemed really nice, kirsten had sunglasses on and acted like she didn't want paparazzi to get pictures of her. they sat in the corner and only stayed for like 15 minutes. they were holding hands at the table and when they left. it seemed like they were dating, they were acting like a 'couple' and i don't know why else kirsten would me here. so i came online later and i found thisstar can exclusively reveal that kirsten dunst is dating saturday night live funny man andy samberg, 27. on march 20, the two were seen getting cozy at hollywood’s uber-trendy hotel café during a jose gonzalez concert. goodbye jake and goodbye former love interest tobey maguire, kirsten has lucked out with andy. an eyewitness says he is quite the gentleman!so i guess they are dating? at least she's not with jake anymore..

( picture behind cut )06/18/06 kongurachure-shonzu...congratulations to rivers and kyoko cuomo!the wedding was at a secluded beachfront cliff property in paradise cove, malibu, and was attended by about 100 friends and family members. it was a fun day where many mini-reunions took place. for the first time in possibly, ever, the following folks were all in the same place: rivers, brian, pat, scott, matt sharp, jason cropper, patrick finn, takashi hasegawa, justin fisher, adam orth and kevin ridel. not to mention the many family members from both sides of the pacific ocean, and some special guests including rick rubin. fine live string quartet music and delicious vegan fare capped off a most special day.large size picture link: here. in this photo we see 6 of the 7 career spanning weezer members all in one spot: matt, brian, pat, rivers, scott, and jason. there it is, y'all.source.i hope they're happy. i haven't seen this kyoko ito in pictures yet though :\
