promo: gail kim & jackie gayda- borash is with the girls as they argue over something.- america's most wanted enter and order gail to get jackie in check.- james storm has a stern warning for their opponents tonight.video package: impact open- brief recap clips of last week's show.- followed by the show open.- pyro, pyro, pyro.nwa world tag team title match: challengers a.j. styles & christopher daniels vs. champions america's most wanted with gail kim & jackie gayda- storm's ribs are taped, the after-effects of the lethal lockdown match.- amw attack at the bell, taking control early.- daniels scores with a double clothesline off the top rope.- amw scurry to the floor. you know what that means...- see no evil! may 19th!- styles hits the rebound dropkick on storm and makes the tag.- daniels gets two after an inverted lungblower.- harris tags in and delivers the looooooong delayed vertical suplex.- amw continue to work together to keep facd down.- a storm russian legsweep leads to a harris cover...- but a.j. breaks up the pin.- storm holds daniels on the mat with a double fishhok clutch.- tag to harris... but daniels comes back with a big palm thrust.- shotei, motherfucker!- both men tag out and a.j. is a house of or on fire!- a.j. takes harris up in the torture rack and plants him for a two count.- storm comes in... but so does daniels.- fallen angel wipes harris out with a suicide dive.- gail kim climbs up and leaps off...- huracanrana on a.j. by gail... no! a.j.'s got her for the clash!- storm gets up and nails styles with a superkick!- gail snaps off a sweet huracanrana.- ref turns around in time to catch storm's pin.- america's most wanted retain in a brief but good bout.video package: senshi- luke, i am your father...- oh, and senshi's back to dominate the x-division, apparently by outpromoing them all.world x cup match: team canada vs. team mexico- team canada = "hot shot" johnny devine & "showtime" eric young, with scott d'amore.- team mexico = shocker & magno- devine and magno begin with classic lucha shit.- devine goes down but gets up and spits at magno.- shocker comes in but the ref intercepts.- behind you, ref! they're double teaming!- snap suplex by devine gets two.- dropkick by magno...- sets up a 619 by shocker that doesn't connect.- shocker hits a headscissor takeover, then drops a spinning elbow.- young comes in but shocker and magno send them out to the floor.- double suicide dive by team mexico.- at ringside, shocker and alex shelley exchange words.- shelley is filming the match.- devine takes control...- but shocker counters into a modified cradle for the pin.- team mexico is now tied with team usa with 2 points.promo: larry zbyszko- larry is with tenay and west, hoarse as hell.- zbyszko briefly addresses the probation.- he books a rematch between amw and a.j./daniels with gail and jackie barred from ringside.- tenay asks why larry won't force abyss to return the nwa title to christian cage.- before he can answer...- raven's here!- raven chases zbyszko around the ring.- time for another commercial break.- did you know kane has a movie coming out on may 19th?video package: deal or no deal- last week, jeff jarrett refused to choose a partner for sting.- sting promised to return to tonight with another choice.promo: jeff jarrett, scott steiner & sting- the heels are out... followed by sting!- come on, tony schiavone!- sting says instead of two choices, this week he gets one.- sting asks if jarrett will pick whoever's behind the curtain or not.- jarrett says he doesn't want to play mind games.- sting issues a 30-second ultimatum.- steiner demands jarrett accept the deal.- time expires and the question is posed... deal or no deal?- jarrett asks the crowd if he should accept, to which they reply yes.- in true heel fashion, jarrett refuses. aw!- sting says jarrett's choice means that sting will choose for him next week.- sting reads off the bio... then introduces rick steiner!- scott steiner is pissed as rick and sting use the classic steiner brothers pose.- sting reminds him that the games are over and next week, sting will choose.- rick gives the old "bite me" catchphrase as we cut to break.- very fun segment.- the countdown is on! 15 days until see no evil hits theaters!video package: alex shelley & kevin nash- nash shoots on past wwf draws, the x-division among other things in a hotel room.- he criticizes tna for bringing in sting and steiner, but not calling him.- nash claims to have drawn more than hogan, hart, austin and rock.- he calls x-division matches "filler".non-title match: alex shelley vs. nwa world champion christian cage- cage is minus the gold, thanks to abyss.- shelley asks for a handshake... but gets a slap!- cage begins unloading on shelley with punches.- clothesline by cage sends shelley down.- reverse ddt on the ring apron and the fight spills out of the ring.- cage sends shelley into the rail and gets a chair.- he sits shelley in the chair and puts on a headset.- he takes up the paparazzi-cam and kicks shelley in the head.- he calls it "boot to the skull: a love story".- i crave for delusional ranting by kevin nash.- cage sends us to commercial.- i wonder if whoever wrote that joke...- wrote see no evil, premiering in theaters on may 19th starring kane!- back with a two-count for cage.- he drives shelley down with a wheelbarrow drop for another two.- shelley begins a comeback with a dropkick to the ass!- shelley scores with a suicide dive.- shelley locks on a necktie as a split chant breaks out.- cage reverses and pushes alex down.- cage counters a suplex and drapes shelley's neck over the top rope.- cage goes up top for a cross body block for two.- rydeen bomb gets cage another two.- shelley with an enzuigiri out of nowhere!- cage blocks a charge in the corner and hits a back elbow.- cage escapes the shiranui... into the unprettier.- it gets three and the match mercifully ends.- cage calls for a microphone and addresses abyss.- full metal mayhem is just 10 days away!promo: abyss & father james mitchell- backstage, mitchell invites cage to attempt to reclaim his title next week.the replay of this week's impact airs on saturday, may 7th and 11pm on spiketv. the tag title match was terrific despite it's length and the world x cup was okay if you like that sort of thing. steiner brother fans should check out that segment and mark a bit. nash's promo was the highlight of the night, punctuated by big sexy's perfect dead-pan delivery. and the main event... was... last. all in all, a passable, if not unspectacular, hour of tna programming.
