kevin nash is set to make his return to the ring for tna in the upcoming weeks.

the comeback
after taking some time off away from the ring, kevin nash is set to return to active competition with tna.
the storyline behind kevin nash's return has been set up rather well the last few weeks, especially with the slow build from simply being a comedy routine to being a character who has something to prove.
during his semi-retirement, kevin nash has been allowed to put his gift fo comedy to good use. his personality added life to several segments featuring the x division wrestlers and kurt angle.
the slow build towards being a serious wrestler again was cleverly added to the storyline between sting and kurt angle. both wrestlers questioned kevin nash's heart and motivation. they both talked about how kevin nash has lost his edge.
in true soap opera fashion, kevin nash revealed to the world that his involvement with kurt angle was so that he can be close to the main event again. his character felt that this was the only way for him to be in the spotlight. now, he's going to fight to see if he still has what it takes to be a main eventer.
hopefully, kevin nash doesn't sway too far away from his comedic roots because that's been such an entertaining part of tna this year.

kevin nash shouldn't have trouble finding opponents in tna.
first of all, he basically turned on sting in the main event of bound for glory by attacking him and attempting to help kurt angle retain the tna world heavyweight championship. many expect these two to renew the feud they had in wcw.
kurt angle could also be another potential target since his character is sure to blame kevin nash for failing to help him keep the belt. the feud between these two should be pretty good since both guys can carry a feud alone on the mic. plus, kurt angle is great enough in the ring to help carry kevin nash to a good match.

with kevin nash's superior mic skills and the momentum that he has behind his comeback, now would be a perfect time to help elevate younger wrestlers with a stable.
for a while there, kevin nash was utilized as a manager for the motor city machine guns (alex shelley and chris sabin). there's plenty of chemistry between the three. plus, management can hype up the michigan connection. another guy from michigan that has a previous connection to kevin nash is scott steiner.
of course, there's still a chance that a couple of other former nwo members (sean waltman and scott hall) could be joining tna soon.

kevin nash isn't going to set the world on fire, but his comeback should be interesting.
