c-fix b.v. is een joint venture tussen royal dutch/shell group en
het britse ukm ltd. het c-fix product (de c-fix binder) is
ontwikkeld en gepatenteerd door royal dutch/shell group en wordt
exclusief via c-fix b.v. op de markt gebracht.
c-fix/koolstofbeton
c-fix is een koolstofrijk thermoplastisch bindmiddel dat, gemixt met
aggregaten, zand en vulmaterialen, de kwaliteiten en voordelen van
asfalt (flexibiliteit, snelheid en kosten) en cementbeton (sterkte)
combineert met sterke milieuvoordelen. een uniek kenmerk van c-fix
is dat het gebruik ervan co2-emissies aanzienlijk vermindert.
kosten- en prestatievoordelen:
case studies tonen aan dat c-fix/koolstofbeton beter presteert dan
gelijkwaardige composietmaterialen; c-fix overschrijdt zelfs de
prestaties van [cement]beton in specifieke natte en droge

reductie van schadelijke, verontreinigde stoffen:
naast het fixeren van co2 en

zwaveldioxide [sox], stikstofoxiden [nox]
en koolmonoxide [co], die bijdragen aan de globale opwarming van de
aarde en verzuring.
reductie van uitputting van natuurlijke rijkdommen:
c-fix/koolstofbeton is 100% recyclebaar. bovendien verbruikt c-fix/koolstofbeton
geen vers water in het mengproces, terwijl [cement]beton 180 liter
