(entrance music: nwo theme) tnafan54 had a blog a veiw blogs down that talked about nwo. i would normally post my comments underneath it, but in this case i got alot to say on this matter so i am dedicating a new blog to it. credits to tnafan54 for starting the topic. should tna bring back the nwo...? no, they should not. the nwo was created in a different company and it ran its course. it served its purpose and that was to bring back some of the realistic aspects of wrestling. it was believable. it was controversial. it was cliffhanging every week. was it real? was it a shoot? it caught everyone's eye and to bischoff's credit, it was so overwhelmingly popular that it carried over to the competition years later and was a failed storyline for that company. if tna brought it back it would fail also. should tna do the kliq? yes, by all means yes! yes! yes!. the kliq has never really been done. the kliq broke kayfabe. the kliq was a real storyline that spanned between the wwe and wcw. the kliq was true friendships between nash, hall, hbk, triple h, and x-pac. background: the kliq was the name given to the 5 by lex luger. mostly because of his jealousy of the 5 cause they were at the top of the game at the time. these 5 traveled together on the road. they built a friendship that would not be broken by the politics of pro-wrestling. well, wcw needed some new high profile talent, so they bought some talent. they offered hall and nash big money contracts to jump ship. at madison square garden, it would be their last match in the wwf before they went to wcw. the main event was nash and hbk in a steel cage. after the match, hall and triple h came down to the ring and in front of millions inside the still cage, they broke kayfabe and embraced as friends for one last good bye. wwf management was -****-ed and triple h suffered the backlash from it. he was slated to get a push to the top, scheduled to win the upcoming king of the ring, but because of their antics, his push was dropped and was not seen in the lime light for six months. if it was not for the kliq and their actions, wwf would have stuck with their plans and triple h would have won the king of the ring the following month. the actual winner of that king of the ring was "the ringmaster" steve austin, and at that king of the ring, austin 3:16 was born. so tna brings in hall and x-pac to form the the kliq, but two members of the original kliq are two top stars in the wwe. would they jump ship? of course not, so don't even start speculating, hoping or praying that it happens. triple h is the vinnie mac's son-in-law. he will be with wwe for the rest of his career, unless he gets divorced. shawn could be a possible, but i do not see it happening either. so how can you have a kliq with out the other two...? here is how you can do it... you acknowledge the competition. you acknowledge the fact that the other two members are apart of the competition and that they are in the top 5 of that company. you sell to fans the friendship of the kliq. reality television is the most popular shows on tv today. give the fans some reality. the reality that the kliq spans over two companies, and that its members are at the top of those companies. you don't have to say triple h or hbk, you can use their real names, like vkm did. you can have the outsiders come into the ring and give a promo on how proud and happy they are that their fellow kliq members won the whc or whatever match they competed in on raw or ppv. that is reality! that is believable! that would sell more than an nwo take over. that would sell more than an outsiders run. would it create legal issues? no, cause then, vince would have to go out and sue every internet news website, that reports the results of their matches. you could also branch it out and include vkm if you wanted to. you could create a feud with the kliq and vkm if you wanted to as they were never true members of the kliq and rode the coat tales of what the original kliq members created. dx was a spin-off of the kliq. you have two members of dx, two members of the kliq and one member who was both. who does x-pac go with? do you see the potential of this storyline? tna please read this and take notes. alot of fans have some great ideas here and i am sure that they, like myself, would appreciate it if you used their ideas, and would not seek out any kind of monetary allowance for those ideas. just a thought. hope you enjoyed... tj q.o.t.d: "a lot of people could have criticized the clique, but the clique rules wrestling. i mean, if you look at it back in the day, me, kev (kevin nash), and kid (sean waltman) were running the nwo and hunter and shawn were running dx in wwe. the clique was running -****-in’ wrestling"       write blog articles   comments on this blog article   dnwalker i see youre poin... wednesday, november 7th 2007, 9:32 pm and you are right i did not see a few thing that way. but i still think that tna needs to use the internet to its advantage. yes you have to plan it out right and be smart about it, but i really think that tna could use the internet to help some of their story become more credible. but, yes it has to be more clever than what i said, and honestly does were only examples that i came up in the spot, you really need to do something better. and again the point is that the kliq are not really spies, the looker room think they are because the way they talk about the competision. that is just the excuse that for them to fight. and wwe stealing talent is not that farfech an idea, i mean wwe and wcw stole talent from ecw. so is really not that crazy to think that wwe want to get their hands on some tna promising talent. and again thats not what would be really happening, that is just something that the other wrestler suspect. on another note, i think that tna is starting to do what you suggested. if you see the last to tna today, they cut some promos that acknolege things from ecw and wwf. buba ray mentions paul heyman checks bouncing and the 2 knockouts take shots at bg james road dog character. it really comes out great and i hope that tna continues doing this. tjcw316 i do see where you are going... wednesday, november 7th 2007, 7:26 am but, what tna needs to make sure that they maintain is credibility. there are some key points that as a business you need to maintain: credibility: how many fans would turn on tna or get fed up, if they were spreading lies (most rumors are just that...lies) about joe, or anyone being in talks with tna. would that not make you want to watch wwe more because you would be looking for joe or whomever to appear on a live show. you are also feeding bull-****- to the fans. the common fan knows that if wwe wanted someone bad enough, they have enough money to have a 95% chance of getting them. the common fan would not believe this. quality: you want to still sell tna to be the better product. you do not want to give the impression that anyone is unhappy in tna. the truth is that there are people that are unhappy in tna and not just vkm. you want to build tna up as the place to be. the kliq: the kliq ran the wrestling world with dx and nwo. so now you have the hbk and hhh in wwe and you have hall and nash in tna. once again, build it as the kliq running the show...not wwe invading tna. the whole invasion angle has been played out way too much in the past years. i am an old school ecw fan. i was there from day one. as much as i love ecw (old ecw), i would hate it if they brought in paul e, rvd, and sabu and did an ecw invasion angle. an invasion is someone coming in and taking over the company. i want these guys to come in and be the company. to be tna! to make it the best. the whole kliq idea was not about wwe, wcw, or tna. it did not include vince. it included the original 5 members, and they ran wrestling during their glory years, and could still do the same once again. as a promoter and booker, you want to give credit to the fans. you don't want to give them -****- and expect them to believe it. an angle with the kliq here to steal tna ideas and talent, would not be productive. who is going to believe that vince is sending in spies to steal talent from a company that is not on his level. and the truth is that tna is not on the same level as wwe. it is not...not yet. i am not saying that your storyline is not good. it is good, and at some point, that storyline would work, but not right now. there is a time and place for each story to happen. when tna gets its chance (and they will) to go head to head with wwe on monday nights, and go live, they will be able to do a story like that and have it work. if you screw with vince too much, then vince goes on the air, live on monday nights or on ecw and give out the results for the taped tna show...wcw did it to vince and it worked. that is the reason why raw went live. you had rick rude appear on all three (ecw, wwe, and wcw) all in one week. the night he was on wwe (taped) he appeared on wcw live at the same time. you have to be smart about how you play to the competition, cause when you are trying to get to their level, you have to be careful, cause vince has more resources to hurt you. dnwalker come on man tuesday, november 6th 2007, 8:59 pm im sorry i think you have the wrong idea of were im going with this. i read what i said and i think that it come out wrong (at least the first 2 lines). i think that it comes out like im saying that they should not acknowledge the competition and that they should be suspected of being spies out of the blue. that's not what i meant to say. i think that they should acknowledge the competition but as a result of that people start to suspect them. you said that the members of the kilq are friends, right? well my point is that nash, hall and waltman could help wwe steal ideas (witch we know that the wwe steals ideas) or even worst, tna talent, in exange for a wwe contract. why is that real? well, because we all know that the only real reason that the kilq are not with the wwe right now is because they have not been offer contracts. if the wwe would come and offer them some contract you know that they would take them. the fact that hhh if married to stephanie can also make this belivable. the logic is this "our good friend hhh said that if we help him get tna talent and information he is going to speak with vince to bring us over to the wwe", that is something that can actually happen. and the looker room might think this because here you have a bunch of guys that every week come on to the ring and congratulate guys from the other compan, one of witch has a top position in the other company. want to make this more belivable? use the intenet to youre advantage. leek out fake rumors on the net. some thing like "samoa joe in talks with wwe" or "wwe plans to steal house shows locations from tna in ny" or "nash and hall seen on wwe show" (and have them actually attend the show). we know that the internet is fill with places that will print this kind of imformation even if they are not real. you can also improb some thing on a live ppv like at the middle of an interview you can hear nash screaming and fighting with some one on the locker room yelling some thing like "im not going to be written out because youre brain is full of bull -****-" and have jb and the other wrestler worried becuase that wasn't suppouse to hapen. so you can use that to make people think that something is really going on here. and im not saying that at the end of the story line they have to actually be spies, this is just an excuse for the other wrestlers to be -****- of at them and want to fight them. tjcw316 ummmm....? tuesday, november 6th 2007, 7:31 pm walker texas ranger, you kinda missed my point. i am talking about bringing in something that the fans can believe, not some bull -****- stuff that bookers try to shove down your throat. no, one would believe that hall, after all the problems that he has had, was going to be a spy for the wwe, and with nash who has been with the company for how long...but yet, he is a spy. and right now tna is not in the competition with wwe. so who cares? both wwe two hour shows are bringing in on the average at least a 2.0 rating. tna can't even get over a 1.2 rating. spies...that is almost as worse as kevin nash being a shrink... okay any other opinions... dnwalker thats good but how about... tuesday, november 6th 2007, 1:58 pm insted of the kliq gives away wwe results and basically free advertising for the wwe, why not have the kliq be suspected of being spies for the wwe. have the rest of the locker room speculate that the real reason that they came to tna is so that they can help wwe get some tna talent, or tell wwe whats tna up to. why would the kilq do that? simple, if they do that the wwe garanties them a big salary in their company. and insted of fueding with vkm have them join them. we all hate vkm and we know that they whant to leave tna, so helping the kliq for a promise wwe contract sounds logical. and honestly a fued kliq vs vkm would suck on the ring. the fued can star with truth and consequences confronting them about their loyalty and it can run to the point of having the old school wrestlers (kliq and vkm) vs the new generation of wrestlers (any one from the x-division). mrjl you know... tuesday, november 6th 2007, 12:57 pm i was on the fence originally, after reading how you would bring back the kliq im definitely thinking that its a great idea. throwing vkm into the mix is the right way to go, it definitely has the believeibility factor as well, great blog, get it done tna!   drop your comment for this article   sorry,
