said it. i don't like the tna announce team or at least half of it. this week on impact the semi finals of fight for the right tournament as james storm battles kaz plus aj styles and tomko defend the tag team title.the angles come out to the ring. kurt gets the microphone and claims that his title match at genesis is a glorified 3 on 1 handicap match. angle also says that by the end of the night he will find out who sting's partner is in this match. this brings out sting who says his partner is a former wwe and wcw champion and does not like kurt angle. angle then says how can he not like me everybody loves me. cue up kevin nash's music he comes out and says he doesn't like kurt as a matter of fact he hates him. angle says he could take nash and nash comes down to the ring and angle bails. he starts backing up the ramp but doesn't see sting behind him. sting catches angle with a right hand and angle rolls back in the ring and sting and nash both punch angle. match 1fight for the right tournamentjames storm vs kazstorm is of course accompanied by the one and only miss jackie moore. kaz comes in and lands a couple of quick hip tosses and dropkicks storm out of the ring. kaz rolls storm back in to the ring but is distracted by jackie which enables storm to catch kaz with a boot in to the ribs and drop him with a ddt and scores a near fall. storm lands a nice backstabber for a near fall and then a knee lift. storm whips kaz in to the corner but kaz leaps over head and rolls him up for the win. wow that came out of nowhere. winner kaz. did somebody say 3 minutes because that's about how long this match lasted.eric young comes out with a 6 pack of beers and storm and young have a beer drinking segment. need i say more. if this is tna's way of starting an angle with these two then i don't really mind it.team 3d come to the ring and say that the x division guys are little boys in a man's world they also make fun of the fans on the internet. the motor city machine guns come out and shelley has a microphone in hand and he says that their are things team 3d hate 1. a low carb diet, 2 exercise, 3 quite obviously the x divison. shelley calls team 3d bully's and brother ray tells d-von to get the tables. d-von goes under the ring but no tables. shelley asks them if their missing something and christopher daniels and havoc come out with the tables to distract them. while from the other side it's petey williams, sonjay dutt, and shark boy attacking from behind. petey gets brother ray's belt but team 3d bail. shelley back on the microphone and challenges team 3d to a match at genesis.we are back with kurt angle interrogating jay lethal in full black machismo garb and lethal isn't sting's partner but it's still a funny segment. match 2awesome kong vs christy hemmekong is massive that's all i've got to say. christy comes out and looks extremely nervous about this i'm sure she remembers having her back nearly snapped at bound for glory last month. christy tries to attack kong and kong shrugs her off. kong sends her in to the ropes and lands a spinning back fist followed by the powerbomb and the win. winner awesome kong we go backstage where kristal is with eric young who says he knows who sting's partner is and he tells kristal and they jump and dance and are happy. what a waste of time. abyss attacks dustin rhodes and throws him through a fiber glass wall. abyss then gets the box containing misty and takes out a key. oh god not this whole norman the lunatic angle again. we are still backstage where we see raven bad mouthing kurt angle and saying how he's sick of always seeing kurt angle featured on impact every week in every segment. aren't we all raven you speak the truth. match 3samoa joe and gail kim vs robert roode and ms brooksroode and brooks argue about who's going to start this match and roode throws brooks in to the ring. joe knowing thew rules of the match though pulls roode in to the ring and beats him down for a bit including doing the knees to the face in the corner. gail and traci in the ring now. gail dominates for the first minute or so. brooks gets gail in the ropes and chokes her. we hear robert roode yelling at ms brooks and eventually joe finally pulls roode back in to the ring and locks in the kokina clutch. but brooks tells the referee that the guys aren't legal. brooks whips gail in the corner but gail is able to roll over the back of brooks and roll her up for the win.winners samoa joe and gail kim after the match roode yells at ms brooks and says she's worthless and tells her to quit. gail kim comes back in to the ring and says she's sick of the way roode treats ms brooks well someone's finally said it. then she slaps roode. roode grabs her but joe comes in from behind and the two men brawl in to and after the commercial break. good setup for their match at genesis in 10 days. we go backstage where angle is with borash and some more of the knockouts i believe talia madison and angel williams. borash tries to pick them up and gets kicked in the balls for his efforts yay. now if they'd only kick him in the ass too. we get a graphic for the fight for the right tournament. match 4christian cage vs ???cage comes to thering to a decent amount of heat. all of the sudden we hear the cell bars being locked which means that chris harris is the oppenent. these two go through a pretty good match. we see harris go for a suplex off the apron but instead christian catches him with a kick to the chest. harris lands a big spinebuster for a neat fall. christian lands a reverse ddt for a near fall. christian attempts the unprettier but harris reverses it in to his own version of the unprettier for a near fall. harris goes for a reverse roll up but christian reverses it and holds the tights and the ropes for the win.winner christian cage genesis promo for the main event with angle and nash vs sting and a partner.tenay and west run down the card for genesis and are interrupted by black reign who invites abyss to a shop of horrors gimmick match at genesis. match 5for the tna tag team titlesaj styles and tomko vs the latin american xchangeit's time for our main event thank god. lax have their shot to regain the titles that they lost back at lockdown. styles and hernandez start. hernandez uses his power and just tosses styles across the ring. tomko and hernandez square off. hernandez lands several big forearms sending tomko to the floor. aj tries to attack hernandez but also gets tossed out. homicide comes in and lands a suicide dive to the floor as we go to commercial. we come back with homicide landing a belly to belly suplex followed by an attempted cop killer but gets a low blow and tomko comes back in as he was legal to begin with. tomko works over homicide for a bit. towards the end we have the four man brawl. aj takes care of homicide sending him to the floor. tomko cleans hernandez's clock with a clothesline and aj then nails a 450 splash from the top rope for the pin.winners and still tna tag team champions aj styles and tomko. not a bad match here. these two teams meshed together well and i'd like to see them face again.tomko and aj beat up lax some more and walk up the ramp but out of nowhere and for no apparent reason come the steiners and we get a brawl. we are back in the interrogation room where angle interrogates karen but she says she knows who the partner is. kevin nash then comes in and says he knows who it is. he says it's scott hall and he's going to be on impact next week. smell the ratings. smell the people tuning out i mean in. ehhh not a great show and unfourtunately with 10 days until genesis and the matches that we know are that show doesn’t look very promising either. read 190 times
