a été découvert par diamond dallas
page, alors qu'à l'époque il était
footballeur américain.
il a fait son premier match à la wcw le 22 septembre
1997 contre hugh murrus et depuis, il ne cesse d'y faire
des ravages ayant à son palmarès 182 victoires
d'affillé (jusqu'à que kevin nash ne le
batte à starccade 1998)
. en avril 1998, goldberg bat raven pour la ceinture des
etats-unis de la wcw. le titre devient vacant quand, le
6 juillet, il bat hogan pour la ceinture mondiale de la
wcw. en novembre, bigelow s'en prend à goldberg.
nash qui gagne le ppv, world war 3, remporte le droit
d'affronter goldberg en décembre à starrcade.
a starrcade, grâce à l'intervention de scott
hall avec un thundergun, nash bat goldberg et devient
le nouveau champion. bill continue de gagner ses matchs
jusqu'au printemps où il subit une attaque de bret
hart. goldberg s'absentera pendant quelques temps du ring
et revient l'été suivant. il aide alors
sting et hogan contre nash, vicious et rick steiner. en
décembre, bret hart et goldberg deviennent champions
par équipe. mais le règne est de courte
durée car bret hart, jeff jarrett, scott hall et
kevin nash reforment la nwo.après une blessure,
goldberg revient à la wcw fin mai 2000. d'abord
aligné avec le multimillionaire's club, il rejoint
rapidement le new blood.
evenement
de l'année 2003, goldberg arrive à raw durant
un speach du rock !!!!
il remporte durant unforgiven le titre de champion du
monde de raw en battant hhh.
